A proud mother, Rev. Tinnin cherishes her daughter Ashlyn, whose presence in her life is a source of inspiration and joy. Family is central to her walk with God, and she models a life rooted in faith, service, and unconditional love.
Rev. Tinnin’s academic accomplishments reflect her dedication to both spiritual and intellectual growth. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Biology from Guilford College, followed by a Master’s in Christian Leadership from Shaw University School of Divinity. She is currently completing her Master of Divinity at Shaw University, further equipping herself to lead with wisdom, insight, and a Christ-centered perspective.
Her ministerial journey has been shaped by rigorous preparation and a steadfast commitment to the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. Tinnin successfully completed all five years of the Board of Examiners of the AME Church, demonstrating both her knowledge and dedication to ecclesiastical excellence. She has also pastored Corpening Chapel AME Church in Morganton, North Carolina, where she faithfully served for two and a half years, nurturing her congregation, providing spiritual guidance, and fostering a community grounded in love and faith.
Rev. Tinnin’s preaching and teaching are characterized by a sincere desire to touch hearts and transform lives. She is committed to proclaiming the truth of God’s Word in ways that inspire hope, strengthen faith, and encourage others to walk boldly in their calling. Through her ministry, she exemplifies Christ’s love in action, showing that genuine service, unwavering faith, and steadfast dedication can uplift and empower the people of God.
