She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Biology from Guilford College, followed by a Master’s in Christian Leadership from Shaw University School of Divinity. She is currently completing her Master of Divinity at Shaw University, further equipping herself to lead with wisdom, insight, and a Christ-centered perspective. Her ministerial journey has been shaped by rigorous preparation and a steadfast commitment to the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. Tinnin successfully completed all five years of the Board of Examiners of the AME Church, demonstrating both her knowledge and dedication to ecclesiastical excellence. She has also pastored Corpening Chapel AME Church in Morganton, North Carolina, where she faithfully served for two and a half years, nurturing her congregation, providing spiritual guidance, and fostering a community grounded in love and faith. Rev. Tinnin’s preaching and teaching are characterized by a sincere desire to touch hearts and transform lives.
